what if it has that gigantic Deviant Art watermark in the middle of the picture and you just can’t enjoy it cuz it’s just so distracting so you remove it with Photoshop is that bad??

Sorry, but yes.  They put that there for a reason.  Good people may source back, but a lot of people do NOT, or they’re ignorant jackwagons who STEAL art and claim it as theirs.  That is why watermark’s and url’s posted on the art are becoming increasing necessary. 

Just enjoy the artwork, post with the watermarks, and always source. 

Also, ZEROCHAN and WEHEARTIT are NOT, REPEAT NOT the source.

People steal from the original artist’s websites and accounts to post on these sites and these sites DO NOT SOURCE BACK TO THE ARTISTS.

These artists worked really hard and that’s stealing, sorry. 

This directly contributes to the whole “starving artist” problem.

Artist’s make their living off their art.  When you DON’T source, that’s stealing from them.

It may be a fanart, but artist’s also have a lot of original art as well and maybe that fanart will bring in extra people to look at their art.

I’ve also seen people doing this with their original art as well.
